Toyota Corolla GT-S(AE86)
 Need For Speed: Prostreet
In '83 - '87 Toyota put out this small car in addition to its Corolla line up. Shown here is the Sprinter Trueno trim which features pop up head lights and a slightly different tail light structure than the Levin version which had fixed head lights. They put out both hatch back and coupe models for this generation. It is thought the last RWD car of its type.
Its stock configuration sported 120hp(112hp for the american spec), front MacPherson struts, 4 link live axle with coil springs in the back, 6.7" axle with LSD, 5-speed manual gear box, and front and rear ventilated disk brakes. The 4A-GE engine was a 1587cc dual over head cam inline 4. Curb weight varied from 2000 pounds to around 2400 pounds.
As a side note, this car is among the favorites of Kenichii Tsuchiya (AKA the Drift King) and is currently one of his tuned "Touge Monsters". It was also used in the popular anime series "Initial D" for the main characters car.
 Need For Speed: Carbon
Through a cheat device or reward card the Trueno is possible to drive only in quick races, it handles well but is fairly slow. Great for drifting.
