As for Police Pursuits, the cars will be:

  • Crown Victoria's
  • Undercover Cars
  • Ford Mustang GT
  • Porsche 911 GT2
  • Lamborghini Gallardo
  • K-9 Rhino Units

[edit] Engine

The Heroic Driving Engine, new to Need For Speed, will help to give the impression you are a true driver and is an upgraded version of the engine by the creators of Need for Speed: ProStreet.

[edit] Highway Battle Mode

A new mode has been released, called Highway Battle mode. It will be a bit like Canyon Duels (more commonly known in the real world Touge Racing) as of YouTube (very good source, in this case), and you must get ahead of the car in front by about 1000ft to win. The races take part on a Highway, surprisingly, and with civilian cars on the road, you must beat your opponent and dodge civilian cars too. It looks hard, and you can total your car easily.

[edit] Gameplay

As for real gameplay, 1 map has been released. [1]

The map is split up into four different areas: Tri-City Bay, Palm Harbour, Gold Coast Mountains and Sunset Hills. There is over 100 miles of open roads - the biggest NFS Map ever.

The Official NFS Undercover website shows gameplay, damage, information on the characters like some of your Police friends and the criminals and a cool new neon blue HUD. You also have the option of a very useful GPS system.

Some Parts of the city are redecorated Most Wanted parts. This is only from the PS2 version.

[edit] Types Of Races

  • Circuit
  • Sprint
  • Checkpoint
  • Wanted:Escape
  • Wanted:Wreck

[edit] Rollcage Edition

A Rollcage Edition, acting as a Collectors Edition, will also be released a few months afterwards.
